Fruit penetrometer
Monitoring the degree of ripeness
The fruit penetrometer is used to monitor the ripeness stage and to check the consistency of the inner fruit flesh. It is very useful in the field for determining the best harvest time. Moreover, it can be used for quality control during storage or after transport. A variety of versions are available for different types of fruit. The standard version can be used for measuring fruits such as apples, pears or citrus.
Custom versions (for example, for nuts) are available on request.
