Liquid manure meter - Ammonium quick test
Liquid manure meter for cattle and swine manure for quick and easy measurement of the ammonium content (in kg ammonium-N/m³), as well as glass hydrometer for determining the dry matter (DM in %) and the phosphorus content (kg P2O5/m³).
The stricter requirements of the Fertiliser Ordinance leave little room for error in the addition of fertiliser with regard to the permissible N and P balances. The ammonium-N content of liquid manure can be determined directly and quickly with the Agros Nova. The measuring range for ammonium-N is between 0 – 7 kg/m³ manure. The measuring range for dry matter is between 0 –12 %. The phosphorus content for swine manure is up to 8.5 kg/m³ and for cattle manure up to 2.6 kg/m³.
The AGROS NOVA consists of a PVC tube container fitted with a screw cap. A manometer is attached to the container, which can be used to read the ammonium-N content of the prepared sample.
