FFF – Field Humidity Wireless
The FFF offers wireless transmission of soil moisture and soil temperature measurement data via NB-IoT or LoRaWAN. Users of NB-IoT devices can view the collected measurement data in our web-based dashboard.
The radio unit works with a long-life battery and can therefore be operated for a long time without maintenance. Soil moisture is measured by connecting our volume sensors or tensiometers to the FFF. In addition, conductivity sensors can also be connected to the wireless unit.
When using our robust SMT50 or SMT100 volume sensors with the FFF, the system can also be installed underground and thus offers effective protection against vandalism and theft.
By obtaining measurement data in real time and monitoring it using the dashboard, the system is perfect for the management of municipal facilities as well as for agricultural operations and generally wherever continuous monitoring of measurement data plays a central role.
The system set up (installation) is simple. It only consists of connecting the sensors to the wireless unit and inserting the battery. The dashboard of the Holfuy web service provides a clear user interface for easily viewing the sent measurement data. Measuring intervals can be easily changed, automatic notifications can be set and solenoid valves can be switched at the click of a mouse.
