pH Soiltester

Simple and quick measurement of the pH value

The pH Soiltester is a robust field device for measurement of the pH value in the natural soil. It doe snot require batteries and does not need to be calibrated. The pH Soiltester is robust, impact and scratch-resistant and a long service life is guaranteed, making it particularly suitable for harsh usage conditions in horticulture, agriculture, forestry and special crops.
The pH Soiltester was developed to be used with mineral soils. Its measuring accuracy depends on the soil density and soil moisture. Therefore, the
pH Soiltester is equipped with a moisture meter.

The measuring range of the pH Soiltester is from pH 3.0 up to 8.0, with an accuracy of ± 0.2 to 0.4  pH.It is not suitable for taking measurements in liquids and loose peat or wood-fibre substrata.

Adjusting the pH value correctly is required for optimum nutrient uptake by the crops. The main nutrients are generally poorly available if the pH value is too low. On the other hand, micronutrients are insufficiently available if the pH value is too high. Regular measurement of the pH value is therefore essential for optimum crop growth.
